Movement Technology Manager
Cat joined CPA as the Movement Technology Manager. In this role, Cat provides guidance on how technology can be in better service to our organizing, and how technology and technologists can contribute to our broader movements for social justice. She became politicized through the Asian American Mentoring Program at Pomona College, where she majored in Math. As a mentor, she organized workshops on Asian American history and systems of power, oppression, and resistance. She carries this perspective into her orientation to technology, where people are prioritized over tools.
Prior to CPA, Cat worked as a software developer building custom software for clients. She first became involved with CPA as a volunteer and part of CPA’s Activist Membership Network. She is excited to continue her work at CPA where resources are shared and extended for a broader movement. In her free time, Cat enjoys spending time outdoors.
