Hai Chi Vu is the Development Manager at the Chinese Progressive Association. In this role, he leads and operationalizes CPA’s fund development strategy, which includes institutional and grassroots fundraising, grants administration, and contracts management. Prior to joining CPA, Hai Chi has served as the Manager of Development at MyPath and project coordinator at the Community Youth Center (CYC). He brings a wealth of experience in project management and program design, with a focus on workforce development, case management, and civic engagement programs for young adults and immigrant families. As a child of Vietnamese immigrants, Hai Chi is proud to continue his parents’ legacy of resilience and centers their stories—and that of all immigrant workers—in his work. Hai Chi holds a BA Political Science and Asian Studies from the University of Vermont, and is pursuing a Master of Public Administration at San Francisco State University. Outside of work, Hai Chi enjoys solo travel, variations of coffee beverages (or tea), and mukbang videos (with the goal to one day be a mukbang star himself).
