✊ Youth Movement of Justice and Organizing (Youth MOJO):
Youth MOJO develops the leadership of Chinese high school youth in San Francisco, with a focus on social issues such as healthcare, education, immigration, and workers’ rights. Youth leaders develop leadership, communication, advocacy and organizing skills. Our program aims to empower youth to make a positive change in their community!
✊ MOJO begins on June 10-12, 2024 with Youth Leadership Retreat, which is an overnight trip at CYO Camp in Occidental, CA. The rest of the summer, MOJO will meet 3x/week at the CPA Office beginning June 18, 2024.

🍄 The Enoki Collective:
The Enoki Collective is a program for young women and trans, gender nonconforming youth (TGNC)*** to explore the intersections of gender oppression, race, class, and culture. Youth will build their leadership and facilitation skills, learn and build their analysis in different topics and find healing and community with like minded peers. Topics include feminisms and patriarchy, history of women’s rights, reproductive justice, LGBTQ identities, healthy relationships and boundaries, and more. We welcome all those who are ready to dismantle patriarchy and toxic masculinity in our community! ***This program is primarily for high school students in San Francisco/Bay Area who identify as Asian/Pacific Islander, and identify as women/girl/TGNC, including non-binary, gender nonconforming, trans, gender queer, and gender fluid youth.
🍄 Enoki meets every other Wednesday from 12:30pm-2pm beginning June 26, 2024 in the summer.
🌱🚲 Common Roots Youth Leadership Program:
Common Roots is a 7-8 week youth leadership program for working class Chinese and Latino youth in San Francisco. Since 1997, Common Roots has been providing hands-on opportunities for youth to learn about environmental justice as well as cross-cultural and cross-racial awareness.
🌱🚲 This summer is BIKE SUMMER, we will end with a 5 day bike camping trip July 19 - July 23. We ask that all Common Root-ers participate as much as possible. You do not need to have a bike or prior biking experience, you will have the opportunity to earn a bike this summer.
🌱🚲 Common Roots meets every Thursday and Friday from 2pm-5:30pm beginning June 20, 2024 in the summer.
💬 Young Men's Circle:
The Young Men’s Circle (YMC) is a space for young Asian American men to connect with one another about their experiences as men/sons/brothers/partners, and tie those experiences to the potential impact they can make towards gender justice. Through YMC, young men will have a peer learning space to navigate honest questions about their identity, name what healthy masculinity is for them, and take action to support themselves that also support young women, femmes, and non binary communities that young men co-exist with.
💬 Young Men's Circle will meet as a weekend retreat from May 25 - 26 in the summer.
