Youth MOJO
Youth MOJO (Movement of Justice and Organizing) develops the leadership of Chinese and Asian American high school youth in San Francisco, with a focus on social issues such as healthcare, education, immigration, and workers’ rights.
During the summer, youth have an opportunity to participate in the Youth MOJO Summer Program and the Youth Leadership Retreat, where members develop and strengthen their leadership, public speaking, communication, advocacy, and organizing skills. Youth members develop leadership, communication, and advocacy skills to make positive changes in their community!

During the school year, MOJO meets every Friday, 5pm-7pm at the CPA Office (1020 Kearny St).
In the summer, MOJO begins on June 9-11, 2025 with Youth Leadership Retreat (YLR).
For the rest of the summer, MOJO meets 3x/week at the CPA Office starting June 18, 2025.
Enoki Collective
Formerly known as Gender & Sexuality Diversities (GSD), the Enoki Collective was founded in 2013 as a safe space for young women, femmes, and TGNC youth to explore their gender and sexuality. Members discuss topics on gender oppression, patriarchy, toxic masculinity, and more.

In Summer 2025, Enoki meets every other Monday, 2pm-4pm.
Young Men’s Circle
The Young Men’s Circle (YMC) is a space for young Asian American cis men to connect on their experiences and impacts towards gender justice. At its heart, YMC provides a judgement-free space for young men to heal from the toxic pressures and messages of masculinity, by connecting together a community for navigating honest questions about their identity and who they want to be.
YMC also encourages young men to extend their understanding of themselves in conjunction with young women, femme, transgender, and non-binary identities to support healthier relationships within their communities.

Common Roots
Common Roots is a joint project of CPA and People Organizing to Demand Environmental and Economic Rights (PODER). It was founded in 1998 as a collaborative leadership program serving low-income Chinese and Latinx youth in San Francisco.
Chinese and Latinx youth have led campaigns advocating for environmental justice, safe working conditions, community gardens, and transit justice to fight against the structures of environmental racism that our communities face. Youth also engage in hands-on learning at community gardens and farms, connecting to our cultural and ancestral knowledge of food, land, and medicine.
